Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to M-INSIGHT undergo a rigorous review and selection process to ensure quality, originality, and relevance to the journal’s multidisciplinary scope.

Submission

Authors submit their manuscript through the journal submission system. The submission must follow M-INSIGHT’s formatting and ethical guidelines.

Initial Editorial Screening (Desk Review)

Each manuscript is first evaluated by the Editorial Board to determine:

1. suitability to the journal’s aims and scope (multidisciplinary relevance),

2. completeness of submission requirements,

3. basic academic quality and ethical compliance (e.g., originality, plagiarism policy).

Manuscripts that are clearly out of scope, incomplete, or not aligned with journal standards may be rejected promptly without external review.

Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be sent to at least two independent reviewers under a double-blind review system (reviewers do not know author identities, and authors do not know reviewer identities).

Reviewers are selected based on their expertise relevant to the manuscript’s topic and methodology across disciplines.

Reviewer Evaluation Criteria

Reviewers assess manuscripts from both substantive and technical perspectives, including:

1. originality and contribution to knowledge,

2. clarity of research objectives/questions,

3. appropriateness and rigor of methods/analysis,

4. validity of results and discussion,

5. relevance and strength of references,

6. organization, language quality, and formatting,

7. ethical considerations (where applicable).

Editorial Decision

Based on reviewers’ reports and editorial judgment, the Editor will decide one of the following:

1. Reject

2. Major Revision

3. Minor Revision

4. Accept

The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board reserve the right to make the final publication decision.

Revision and Re-Review (if needed)

If revision is required, the manuscript will be returned to the authors for improvement. Revised manuscripts may be:

1. evaluated directly by the editor, or

2. sent back to the original reviewers for confirmation (especially for major revisions).

Decision Confirmation

Once a final decision is made, the author will receive an official notification through the journal system.

Review Timeline

M-INSIGHT aims to complete the review process within approximately 4 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the complexity of the manuscript.
